Call for bids: DRC English language teaching market analysis

British Embassy Kinshasa calls for bids from implementers for a survey of the English language teaching market in DRC.

The British Embassy in Kinshasa calls for bids from potential implementing partners to conduct the following project:

English language teaching market analysis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Embassy is searching for potential implementers to conduct a short duration analysis of the local commercial market for English language teaching in the DRC. The intended output of this project would ideally be the production by the implementer of a high-quality prospectus detailing local opportunities in this sector. It is intended that this prospectus could then be used to attract potential commercial investment in the sector by UK and other investors.

Potential implementers should meet the following criteria:

  • extensive existing experience in the field of market analysis for commercial purposes

  • demonstrable experience of analysing the market for English language teaching in overseas markets

  • strong knowledge of the range of potential investors in this field

  • capacity to field experts in country in DRC to undertake market analysis

Implementers should ideally also have existing commercial experience of the DRC or of other francophone African markets.

A total of up to £25,000 can be made available to support such market analysis and the production of a prospectus.

Potential implementers should send concept notes with an indicative budget, outlining their proposal in brief, to Sylvie Maduma by 24 March.
