Members of the BBG present were Justin Russel, Service Center Manager of Rolls-Royce Namibia (Pty) Ltd; Daniel Kali, Non-Executive Chairman of Namdeb and De Beers; Craig Thomas, Managing Director of Weatherly Mining Namibia; Engelhardt Kongoro, Country Director of BP Namibia; Cameron Kotze, Tax Partner of Ernst & Young; Martin Webb-Bowen, Company Director at Ultimate Safaris; Peter Owens, General manager of Tullow Kudu Limited and David Cartwright, Managing Director of ATI holidays.

The soon to be released revised public procurement law will compel companies to have local ownership as a prerequisite to get public tenders; and the planned Export levy will become a reality from April 2013, the minister confirmed but did not elaborate on the rates.
