Annual Remembrance Service to be Held Gulele War Cemetery

Commonwealth Remembrance Day Service will be held in Gulele War Cemetery in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Sunday 10th November 2013 at 1030hrs.

Ambassadors of many countries accredited in Addis Ababa, accompanied by their Military Attaches, will attend the ceremony and lay wreaths at the Cemetery. Senior Ethiopian military personnel will also be expected to attend the ceremony and to lay wreaths.

A short religious service will be conducted, led by Grant LeMarquand, Anglican Bishop for The Horn of Africa.

The Commonwealth Remembrance Day Service is held annually around the world to commemorate the lives of all the servicemen who died during the two World Wars.
