HM Ambassador in Paraguay Dr. Jeremy Hobbs donated books, computers and other equipment to facilitate English language teaching to the Superior Technical Institute in the city of Santa María de la Fe in the department of Misiones. This donation aims to help more students from rural areas of Paraguay to take English language examinations from Cambridge University.

Moreover, the Ambassador donated kitchen equipment and a dining table to the Foundation Niño Divino Jesús, to support the Project “You can get there, you can make it”. The project enables children to learn how to prepare simple meal courses focussing on the skills of cooking. What they learn during the cooking classes highlights the importance of working together as a team, solidarity and assuming responsibilities. The Foundation offers a transitional shelter home to children who have been victims of abuse or they were abandoned and are in need of protection.
