Details

This project produces guidance on how the Environment Agency should handle landscape and environmental design issues in the development of capital projects. It helps Environment Agency staff to break the overall process down into small steps and consider the environmental opportunities and constraints at each stage.

This guidance will be used by staff managing the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process or involved in developing capital projects.

The guidance aims to encourage consistency and value for money within projects and ensure that Environment Agency projects are designed and implemented to the right standard.

This project ran from 2002 to 2006.
