This year marks the 70th session of the General Assembly, which began on 15 September 2015. The Prime Minister will lead the UK’s delegation.

The main focus this year will be the adoption of the Global Goals: 17 targets that build on the success of the Millennium Development Goals and which aim to end poverty by 2030.
