University tuition fees in the CPI: 2014
Changes in university tuition fees have had a significant effect on the rate of inflation over the last couple of years. They will next be updated in the October figures to be published on 18 November. This article gives a brief overview of the methodology used to measure these fees and includes a stylised example of the calculation.
