The latest release of these statistics can be found in the Universal Credit statistics collection.
Revision
Users are advised that postcode areas for claims made to Universal Credit between 13 March 2020 and 9 April 2020 and starts on Universal Credit for April 2020 have been revised. This does not affect People on Universal Credit and Households on Universal Credit.

These are official statistics (experimental) on Universal Credit for England, Scotland and Wales released according to arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

- who have submitted a claim for Universal Credit with a personal declaration to 9 July 2020
- who have made a claim and have attended an initial interview, accepted their claimant commitment, and gone on to start Universal Credit up to 9 July 2020
- who are on Universal Credit at 9 July 2020
They also contain data for the total number of households on Universal Credit at 14 May 2020.
