Details

Provisional estimates of statistical data are systematically revised and amended to reflect more complete information when it becomes available.

There are two types of revisions that can be applied in the OTS. These are ‘scheduled revisions to provisional data’ and ‘unscheduled corrections to final data’. Through such a process, published statistics can become more accurate.
