About this release

The Department for Transport produces and publishes a range of Transport Statistics with a spatial component. This new provision supports the download of the datasets in geospatial formats.

This initial release covers the existing published official statistics, by the Department for Transport, in a geographical format for Road Casualties, Bus Passenger Journeys, Search and Rescue Helicopter Taskings, Licensed Plug-In Vehicles, and Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure.

GIS datasets are updated once the statistical datasets they are derived from have been officially published.

This service will be developed further to provide additional functionality to support users with the ability to access, view, filter and download the datasets in geospatial format.
