This publication presents statistics on suspensions and permanent exclusions within the autumn term (September to December) 2024 to 2025, across state-funded primary, state-funded secondary and special schools.
The publication includes data on:
- reasons schools report for excluding and suspending pupils
- exclusions and suspensions by pupil characteristics
The data has been collected in the school census. Data for earlier years is also included.
