Details

There is a growing need for the Ministry of Justice and its Ministers to have a better understanding of the transgender population in prisons. The management information notice that will assist with the government’s review on the care and management of transgender prisoners, to meet obligations for transgender prisoners under the Equalities Act 2010, and to help prisons to manage any additional safeguards in their support of this vulnerable group of prisoners
