Details
The Patent Box enables companies to apply a lower rate of Corporation Tax to profits earned after 1 April 2013 from its patented inventions.
This publication provides statistics on the number of companies claiming relief under the UK Patent Box, and the cost to the Exchequer of providing that relief. This year’s release includes figures up to the tax year 2020 to 2021 and partial figures for the tax year 2021 to 2022.
