Offender management statistics quarterly: July to September 2025
Detailed quarterly statistics on offenders in custody (including offence groups, sentence lengths and nationalities), and quarterly statistics on prison receptions, prison releases, adjudications, licence recalls and offenders under probation supervision. Updated transparency data on prison releases under SDS40 has been published in parallel with these quarterly statistics.

Latest figures for the quarter July to September 2025 are provided and compared to the same period in 2024. This is with the exception of the prison population where more recent data are available (31 December 2025).
It covers flows into these services (receptions into prison or probation starts) and flows out (releases from prison or probation terminations) as well as the caseload of these services at specific points in time.
