1. Introduction

This tool has been developed as part of a broader data transparency initiative to provide access to the data tables released in the annual offender employment outcomes publication, by probation region.

Users can explore the data by month, year, sex, age, ethnicity, offence type and sentence length, at probation region level, and use the tool to:

  • interrogate publication data at a greater level of detail and make comparisons to national outcomes; for example, by comparing outcomes in a single probation region against outcomes in England and Wales;
  • self-serve by accessing and producing charts and tables to user specification and requirements.
