The total quantity of landings by UK vessels (20 thousand tonnes) decreased by 3% in May 2026 compared to 2025. The value of landings in May 2026 (£58 million) increased, by 2% (£1 million) compared to May 2025.

Landings in May 2026 were comprised of mostly Shellfish species, 51% of total. Shellfish species comprised the majority of the value landed (51%), with Demersal species also high at 49%.
