The total quantity of landings by UK vessels (tonnes) diminished in May 2025 compared to 2024, down 18%. The value of landings in May 2025 (£50.8m) decreased compared to 2024 down by 18%.

Landings in May 2025 were comprised of mostly Demersal species (51%). Shellfish species comprised the majority of the value landed (50%), with Demersal species also high at 49%.
