Details

This statistical release contains the latest data and commentary on new outcomes obtained as a result of enforcement activities of the Insolvency Service during 2016/17. They include: disqualifications of company directors; companies wound up in the public interest; bankruptcy restrictions; and allegations.

Several errors were discovered and have now been corrected in this publication: * Page 3 – Number of orders is now 200 (from 227); number of undertakings is now 1014 (from 987) * Page 5 – Average length of order is now 7.5 years (from 6.7); average length of undertaking is now 5.5 years (from 5.6) * Page 6 – number of disqualifications made from 5 to 10 years is now 434 (from 433) Our processes have been reviewed to ensure this does not happen again and we apologise for any inconvenience caused
