This report presents findings from the infant feeding survey 2024, a national survey of mothers in England. The survey was led by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, part of the Department of Health and Social Care, and was conducted by Ipsos.
The survey collected data on all aspects of infant feeding, including breastfeeding practices, use of infant formula, introduction of solid foods, vitamin use and support received before and after birth. It also gathered information on mothers’ behaviours during pregnancy, such as smoking and alcohol use.
