Explanatory Note: Statistics on International Development – use of new Gross Domestic Product Framework

The ONS has implemented a new framework for calculating Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This article will set out DFID’s approach to implementing the new framework in its reporting of UK aid spend figures.

The GDP framework change will impact GNI calculations. This article explains how DFID will transition to the methodology change for managing and reporting ODA spend in its Statistics on International Development publication.
