The Office for National Statistics (ONS) now refer to “experimental statistics” as “official statistics in development”. To align with this guidance, we have simplified the title of our publication and refer to our estimates as “official statistics in development” throughout our 2025 release. We will continue to use this terminology in all subsequent releases in this series.
