  1. EIS and SEIS statistics: commentary note

The commentary note provides statistical commentary to EIS Official Statistics Tables 8.1 and 8.1a and SEIS Official Statistics Tables 8.11 and 8.11a. This release presents the first published statistics for Advanced Assurance Requests (AARs). It also sets out the data and methodology involved in the production of these statistics.

The EIS and SEIS Tables are in Excel and PDF formats and provide the following information:

  • Table 8.1: EIS yearly statistics (tax year ending 1994 to 2016)

  • Table 8.1a: EIS AAR yearly statistics (tax year ending 2007 to 2017)

  • Table 8.11: SEIS yearly statistics (tax year ending 2013 to 2016)
  • Table 8.11a: SEIS AAR yearly statistics (tax year ending 2013 to 2017)
