Details
The DSIT Public Engagement Survey is a continuous push to web survey of UK adults aged 16 and over. It provides statistically representative national estimates of adult engagement with DSIT’s sectors that can be used to understand how people are engaging with, or experiencing, science and technology in their day-to-day lives.
This is the first year that the survey has taken place. Fieldwork was conducted between November 2025 and March 2026.
Feedback
We aim to continuously improve the quality of estimates and better meet user needs. We welcome feedback on this release. Feedback should be sent via email to publicengagementsurvey@dsit.gov.uk

Pre-release access
The accompanying pre-release access document lists ministers and officials who have received privileged early access to this release. In line with best practice, the list has been kept to a minimum and those given access for briefing purposes had a maximum of 24 hours.
