Details
Due to incorrect reporting, certain export customs declarations were erroneously excluded from the Overseas Trade in goods Statistics (OTS). The issue was found during regular quality assurance checks of trade data.
This affects UK exports from March 2022 to April 2023.
The January 2023 to April 2023 data is currently provisional, this is open to revisions. We are re-opening 2022 to apply these corrections.
The corrections revise the monthly UK export trade figures upwards. This is between 0.5% and 0.7% for months in 2022, and by between 0.8% and 1.1% in months of 2023.
