This report presents the latest statistics on the type and volume of civil county court cases that are received and processed through the justice system of England and Wales in July to September 2020. It also includes the number of judicial review cases processed by the High Court, as well as statistics from the Business and Property Courts.

A Sankey data visualisation tool of county court case progression has been published alongside the current publication, which is updated quarterly. A link to this Sankey tool can be found in the “Sankey Case Progression Tool Guide”.

Judge sitting days have been published in full this quarter, with a statistical note detailing the revisions that have been made. These statistics replace the partial data published in June 2020.
