Report of methodological work carried out for BIS on building materials statistics. Looks at seasonal adjustment of the times series presented in the ‘Monthly statistics of building materials and components’, sample design work recommending a new approach for the ‘Sand and gravel and blocks surveys’, and imputation for newly sampled producers where no previous value is available to inform the imputation.
