Details

Expenditure in each parliamentary constituency is estimated using National Statistics published data on benefit caseloads and average amounts of benefit, applied to out-turn expenditure totals. This implicitly assumes that overpayments and other adjustments to total benefit spend are spread pro-rata across parliamentary constituencies.
