Organisations in receipt of funding from the Annual Funding Programme (AFP) from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland report their activities and achievements to us every year in an annual survey. This publication details findings from the 2019/2020 financial year.
The survey collects data on organisation staffing, financial statements (income and expenditure), numbers of performances, participation based events, exhibitions and festivals. Known and estimated audiences for these activities provide insight into levels of engagements, a variable we have tracked over a number of years.
Its purpose is to provide evidence of the use of funding for reporting to Government and other key stakeholders. It also helps support our detailed understanding of grant recipients, informing planning and policy development.
