This monthly report provides an update on UK clinical research delivery key performance indicators. It brings together data from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to monitor progress in delivering globally competitive clinical research across the UK. The December 2025 update includes data up to November 2025. This is the first time this report has been published on GOV.UK.
