The Employment of Disabled People 2026
These statistics will be expanded, in the next annual update due to be released on 4 November 2026, with the addition of employment and unemployment duration, secondary reasons for economic inactivity, strategic geographic boundaries (Combined Authorities and NHS Integrated Care Boards), disability prevalence adjusted and age-standardised disability employment gaps. Furthermore, the data will be published on the online tool Stat-Xplore, which allows users to create their own bespoke tables. Users are invited to provide feedback on the employment of disabled people statistics, including the new breakdowns and how you use the statistics and how well they meet your requirements.
