Statistics on the use of language interpreter and translation services in courts and tribunals: quarterly update to March 2017

Overview of completed service requests for language interpreter and translation services, proven complaints in relation to those services, and completed ‘off contract’ requests for services. The bulletin covers courts in England and Wales, all UK tribunals not transferred to devolved governments, NOMS and Ministry of Justice.

Statistics release cancelled

Following consultation with users, statistics on the use of language interpreter and translation services in courts and tribunals will now be included in the Criminal Courts Statistics Quarterly publication, starting from March 2017: The standalone statistical release on ‘Use of language interpreter and translation services in courts and tribunals’ will no longer be produced.
