Key findings this month
One request is being published this month for the resettlement and employment programme at HMP Kirklevington Grange. The resettlement and employment programme is a whole prison approach to developing employability and life skills. This analysis indicates that the programme had a statistically significant effect on the one year reoffending rate and the one year frequency of reoffending.
The bulletin is produced and handled by the Ministry’s analytical professionals and production staff. Pre-release access of up to 24 hours is granted to the following persons: Ministry of Justice Secretary of State, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Permanent Secretary, Director of Sentencing and Rehabilitation Policy unit, relevant policy advisers for reducing reoffending and women’s policy (3 people in total), policy advisers for the Transforming Rehabilitation Programme, and relevant press officers and special advisers.
