The publication includes a number of documents:

1. EIS, SEIS and SITR statistics: commentary note.

The commentary note provides statistical commentary to EIS National Statistics Tables 8.1 to 8.5, SEIS National Statistics Tables 8.11 to 8.15 and SITR Official Statistics Tables 8.21 and 8.21a. It also sets out the data and methodology involved in the production of these statistics.

2. EIS Tables 8.1 - 8.5

The EIS Tables are in Excel and PDF formats and provide the following information:

  • Table 8.1: General yearly statistics (tax year ending 1994 to 2016)
  • Table 8.2: Industry breakdown (tax year ending 2014 to 2016)
  • Table 8.2a: Industry breakdown (SIC) (tax year ending 2014 to 2016)
  • Table 8.3: Distribution of companies by size of their funds (tax year ending 2014 to 2016)
  • Table 8.4: Regional breakdown (tax year ending 2014 to 2016)
  • Table 8.5: Distribution of investors by size of their investment (tax year ending 2014 to 2016)

3. SEIS Tables 8.11 - 8.15

The SEIS Tables are in Excel and PDF formats and provide the following information:

  • Table 8.11: General yearly statistics (tax year ending 2013 to 2016)
  • Table 8.12: Industry breakdown (tax year ending 2014 to 2016)
  • Table 8.12a: Industry breakdown (SIC) (tax year ending 2014 to 2016)
  • Table 8.13: Distribution of companies by size of their funds (tax year ending 2014 to 2016)
