The reports present key statistics on activity in the criminal justice system for England and Wales. It provides information for the latest 12 months (July 2016 to June 2017) with accompanying commentary, analysis and presentation of longer term trends.

An interactive Sankey diagram (a type of flow diagram, in which the width of the arrows is shown proportionally to the number each represents) presenting information on criminal histories accompanies this bulletin.
