Child Benefit small area statistics - August 2016

These statistics provide detailed annual geographical estimates, at Lower Super Output Area and Data Zone, of the number of families and children claiming Child Benefit in respect of the 31 August of the year of analysis. These were due to be published at 09:30 on Tuesday 28 February 2017, and delayed because of quality issues relating to a separate publication. These quality issues have now been resolved, and this publication is unaffected. The revised publication date is 09:30 on Thursday 23 March 2017.

• Reason for change: There will be a delay on the Child Benefit Statistics (Geographical and Small area data) publications that were due to be published at 09:30 on Tuesday 28 February 2017 pending the outcome of investigations regarding the Child and Working Tax Credits Statistics: finalised award statistics - small area data (LSOA and Data Zone).
