Attendance in education and early years settings during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak – 23 March to 17 December 2020

The publication summaries the number of children attending education settings since Monday 23 March and in early years settings since Thursday 16 April.

Statistics release cancelled

This publication has been cancelled, but data for 11 to 18 December will be included in the first publication of the new year on 12 January to ensure a consistent – full – timeseries including the end of the autumn term. This will enable a fuller explanation of attendance trends which are complicated by schools starting their Christmas break or having INSET days by Thursday 17 December.
