Details

The research was carried out by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the Youth Justice Board (YJB) and involved:

  • a discussion group with a small group of youth offending team workers
  • an online survey of 421 youth offending team workers across England and Wales
  • 125 interviews with practitioners and young people

The report includes recommendations for YOTs and the YJB - such as involving families and sharing examples of effective techniques.
