Research background

This interim report provides select findings on teachers’ views of young people’s opportunities and barriers to access and engage in work, education and training, and the current focus of the school curriculum. 

Contribution to the evidence base

This will inform the Milburn Young People and Work report and wider evidence base on young people not in education, training or employment (NEETs).

Research value

The findings from this research will be used to inform the Milburn Young People and Work interim report.
