Letters from Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) to Valpak, the 7 schemes and the Joint Trade Association giving feedback on their proposals for a Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) compliance fee methodology.
Following a consultation in 2013, we implemented the WEEE target and compliance fee system. In July 2015, we invited stakeholders to submit proposals for how the compliance fee should work.
We published the proposals and asked for views, after which we approved the JTA’s proposal.
