Forthcoming change: modelling guidance updates

Details

This document gives guidance on the analysis of variable demand modelling in transport appraisals.

In certain analysis mode choice model development models may be too restrictive and a mixed logit model can be used instead.

The previous version of this unit was TAG unit M2 variable demand modelling, May 2019. This version has been renamed as TAG unit M2.1 variable demand modelling.

TAG provides information on the role of transport modelling and appraisal, and how the transport appraisal process supports the development of investment decisions to support a business case.
