The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Estates team has unveiled a comprehensive water management plan designed to help meet the Greening Government Commitments (GGC). It outlines key targets, technological upgrades and long-term efficiency measures aimed at reducing water consumption across one of the UK’s largest estate portfolios.
Key internal teams in DWP Estates, including Utilities and Sustainability, Asset Intelligence, FM partners and Sustainability Champions, will jointly support delivery of the plan. The Department will continue to monitor water usage monthly and report progress quarterly through the GGC framework.
