Volume 1 introduces the supplementary environmental information and changes to the design and construction assumptions included within the SES2, and the amendments which have resulted in the need to amend the Bill within the AP2 ES. It also provides an overview of the environmental impact assessment process.
The glossary contains any new or different terms and abbreviations used throughout the SES2 and the AP2 ES which are not already explained in the ES (July 2017) or the SES1 and AP1 ES (March 2018).
This document has been published as part of the HS2 Phase 2a SES2 and AP2 ES for the route between the West Midlands and Crewe.
