This report outlines final compliance information for the Vehicle emissions trading schemes (VETS) 2024 scheme year, as required under article 80 of the VETS Order.  

The Vehicle Emissions Trading Schemes Order 2023 creates 4 trading schemes:

• two zero emission vehicle (ZEV) mandate schemes – one for cars and one for vans, that encourage the uptake of zero emission vehicles and regulate registrations of non-ZEV
• two CO2 regulation schemes – one for cars and one for vans, which regulate the emissions of new non-ZEVs registered in the UK

The report includes market-level, manufacturer-level and vehicle-level information in line with the requirements set out in the VETS Order, including information on:

• ZEV and non-ZEV registrations
• non-ZEV CO2 emissions
• vehicles registered within the schemes
