Scheme for the variation of a watercourse through Cherry Hinton, Cambridgeshire

Notice is hereby given that the Environment Agency has submitted a scheme under section 32 of the Land Drainage Act 1991 for diverting part of the route of the sixth public drain laid down in the parish of Teversham enclosure award of 20 December 1815 where that drain runs through the parish of Cherry Hinton in the county of Cambridgeshire to enable development to take place.

A copy of the scheme has been deposited at the offices of the Environment Agency at

for public inspection during normal office working hours for a period of one month after the date of publication of this notice and can also be obtained by emailing peter.bilbrough@environment-agency.gov.uk and requesting a copy of the scheme.

Any objection to the scheme should be made in writing and sent to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Division, Ground Floor, Seacole, 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DF or via email to flood.reports@defra.gov.uk within the period mentioned above, quoting “Teversham Award Drains Variations Order.”.
