The United Kingdom and the Swiss Confederation (Switzerland) have concluded negotiations on an enhanced free trade agreement (FTA).

This conclusion summary outlines the benefits of the concluded deal between the UK and Switzerland, and explains the provisions and chapters in the new UK-Switzerland FTA.

The agreement is not yet in force. Both the UK and Switzerland are required to complete their respective domestic procedures for the agreement to come into effect. Once ratified by both countries, businesses will be able to trade under its terms.
