The final report on the UK National Contact Point’s consideration of a complaint from Privacy International (a non-governmental organisation) against the UK company Gamma International UK Limited.
The complaint alleged that the company’s actions did not meet voluntary standards on addressing human rights impacts included in the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
The UK NCP made a first assessment of the complaint and offered the parties mediation. They were unable to reach agreement, and so the UK NCP examined the information both parties had presented and reached the conclusions set out in this final statement.
