UK NCP final statement complaint by ADHRB against Formula One Group companies

The final agreement statement from the UK National Contact Point (NCP) on a complaint submitted by Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain.



This publication reports that an agreement was reached in a complaint from ADHRB (a US based civil society body) against UK companies in the Formula One Group. The complaint alleged that the companies’ actions did not meet voluntary standards on human rights included in the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

The guidelines have an associated complaints process delivered by the National Contact Point (NCP) relevant to the company concerned.

The UK NCP made a first assessment of the complaint in October 2014 and offered the parties mediation which resulted in their reaching an agreement.
