UK Geospatial Data Standards Register

These standards should be used for publishing geospatial data in accordance with the National Data Strategy and in compliance with the recommendations of the Data Standards Authority.

  1. The coordinate reference system section has been updated to include offshore coordinate reference systems for the marine applications in Great Britain and Ireland. New entries have also been added to the register to cover standards for data specification, data capture, data quality and preservation.

  2. "Standards for accessing spatial data on the web" section added NetCDF (Network Common Data Form) entry added to "Standards for geospatial data format and content" section
