Details
This analysis provides further estimates of digital data use, data centre use and international data transfer amongst UK organisations, using the UK Business Survey (UKBDS). This is an abridged set of specific further findings from the UKBDS 2022, a telephone and online based quantitative and qualitative study of UK businesses. The UKBDS seeks to understand the role and importance of personal and non-personal data in UK businesses, domestic and international transfers of data, and the awareness of, and attitudes toward, data protection legislation and policy.
These data were first published on 10 October 2023 by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and are now being republished by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
