The UK and Japanese governments held the fourth meeting of the Industrial Policy Dialogue virtually on 12 July.

Discussions focused on:

  • the shared challenges of recovering from the pandemic
  • fostering clean growth
  • supporting the trade and business relationship between the UK and Japan

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI).
